boring day... bought myself a celeron 1.3 gig for about 325$ today... i am hoping to install linux on it soon... get myself a copy of tetex and the gnu c ompilers and i should be all set to work at home... i hope all the savings on fuel will pay for the comp soon..

had long chats with both v-man and sonali yesterday... with v-man the conversation went into religion, god ..the mind matter problem and suchlike... v's ideas on such things are reaching a level close to what i had when i decided... to fuck all that and enjoy life... wonder what will happen to him? The conversation with sonali was easier on the brain... but we talked about another of life's unanswerable questions...viz " what, in gods name goes on inside the female mind"... and then she asked me things that i cant stop thinking about... was momentarily nonplussed when she asked me..anyways.. its a complicated world we live in folks...best thing to do is to try and have fun and not notice boredom

I met Mahima on the way back from "Harmonic Analysis"...She was all gushy and happy... why do women do this...

hey...listen.. if you dont want go out with me...then i dont ever want to see you again my life allright!!?.. No i dont want to be "just friends"... i dont want to smile and say hey...and the artificial "i'll give you a call sometime"...hell! who wants to be constantly reminded of his failures... and god knows i have enough trouble with that already...!... Congradulations Mahima! you have managed to completely ruin the rest of my freakin' day in a span of 5 minutes...jeez!!

Stephanie just walked in with a burger from Rocky Mountain Pizza and a side of their oh-sooo-good sweet potatoe fries.... I have this overwhelming urge to get up, grab the fries and make a run for the door:)... Wonder if people get the urge to do crazy stuff just for the fun of it...what the big corporations that sell food need to invent, is a device that would transfer smells to your target audience along with their ads for food.... wotever...i am off to get some dinner...
Went to Fat Matt's Rib Shack/ last nite for some blues, brews and barbecue...Anyone in Atlanta should totally try their chopped pork sandwich ... its (like Linda Richman in Coffee Talk says) to die for:)... decent blues too for a place with no cover charge... yesterday they had a band on called The Organ donors or something like that... It was a jazz trio with one organ, a jazz lead guitar and drums... They played a lot of Sonny Boy Rollins... and a Miles Davis piece from Kind if Blue that i recognized(dont scoff...its not that easy)....:).. My guitar instructor was actually talking about a resurgence of the jazz trios that play traditional jazz instead of all the new age crap... Its a good thing...:)
